8-year-old boy run over in Gzira

The Asian boy was run over by a car, a Volkswagen Polo, driven by a  27-year-old man residing in Zejtun. According to police, the accident happened at around 6.45am. An ambulance was called on site and took the boy to Mater Dei hospital.

The boy suffered minor injuries.

A police investigation is underway.
