Woman stabbed in St Paul’s Bay
A 31-year-old woman was admitted to the hospital yesterday evening suffering from stab wounds.
According to police, the 31-year-old woman residing in St Paul’s Bay was stabbed while she was in Sir Ugo Mifsud Street. The woman herself had contacted the police to report the incident.
An ambulance was called by the police. The woman was taken to Mater Dei hospital where she was certified to be suffering from grievous injuries but are not life-threatening.
The reason for the stabbing has not yet been established. Police investigation is underway.
