Price reduction of commonly used GSK’s antibiotics

Pharmacies were refunded by GSK to ensure that patients begin to benefit from these reductions without any delay.

These medicines are: Zinnat (500mg x 14 tablets), reduced by €5.42 and now selling to patients at €17.70;  Augmentin (1g x 14 tablets), reduced by €0.36 and now selling at €19.98; and Augmentin (625mg x 21 tablets), reduced by €4.57 and now selling at €15.77.   

The above mentioned medicines are antibiotics and therefore only dispensed against a doctor’s prescription.
