Possible excessive presence of preservative – Health Directorate
The Environmental Health Directorate has issued a warning against the consumption of fish sauce of the ‘Monika’ brand.
Following information received from the Rapid Alert System for Food and Feed, the Environmental Health Directorate reported that, as a precautionary measure, the fish sauce of the ‘Monika’ brandis not to be consumed because of the possible excessive presence of a preservative (benzoic acid).
The Company involved informed the directorate that the batch imported through Netherlands was sold out and the Directorate is obliged to inform consumers of this recall.
