Power restored after widespread electricity outage hits Malta and Gozo

A widespread power cut hit Malta and Gozo just before 10:15am on Monday with Enemalta restoring electricity to most areas some 15 minutes later.

Enemalta’s online map now shows an unplanned power outage only in St Paul’s Bay, which is marked as a fault on a high voltage cable.

Previously, the map showed outages in Gozo and several areas across Malta, from the north to the south.
