Interview with newly elected MP Antoine Borg tomorrow

Newly elected MP Antoine Borg will feature in an interview in tomorrow’s issue of ‘Illum’.

The former PN financial controller speaks about what got him elected at the expense of former MPs in the casual election, and how this election will change his life.

Borg was elected this week, in the casual election for the seat vacated by ex-Prime Minister Lawrence Gonzi. Although not a front-runner in the first count, he managed to inherit the most votes and surpass former MPs Peter Micallef, Tony Abela, Edwin Vassallo and Philip Mifsud.

The Nationalist Party announced Antoine Borg will be shadowing the EU presidency and EU funds ministry.
