Iklin resident critically injured in Qormi car accident

The Police were informed of a road accident in Triq l-Imdina in Hal Qormi in the early hours of this morning.

After preliminary investigations, police discovered that a 29 year old man from Iklin had lost control of his Smart Passion for unknown reasons.

The Civil Protection Department and ambulance were called to the scene for assistance and the man was taken to Mater Dei for treatment.

The police were informed that the man is in critical condition resulting from grievous injuries.

Police Magistrate Doreen Clarke was notified of the situation and called in several experts to assist in the investigation.

Police investigation is still ongoing.
