Eight pending cases at anti-corruption commission

Permanent Commission against Corruption received three fresh cases of potential corruption in 2013 and one new one in 2014

The Permanent Commission against Corruption is looking into eight cases of potential corruption, Justice Minister Owen Bonnici revealed.

Responding to a parliamentary question by Opposition MP Carm Mifsud Bonnici, Bonnici said that the commission received three fresh cases in 2013 and one new one in 2014.

He added that the Commission is also taking into consideration the 45 emails sent to its secretary throughout 2013 and the 21 emails sent to it throughout 2014, that include details of complaints and allegations of corruption.
