Mark Gaffarena has called Labour MP Joseph Sammut as a witness in his defence in a court case following the Old Mint Street expropriation scandal. Gaffarena’s lawyer Keith Bonnici has listed Sammut as a witness “to testify on the contents of a letter he sent to the Lands Department” in the name of Gaffarena and his wife, Josielle.
