In the Press: Gaffarena calls Labour MP Joe Sammut as witness

Mark Gaffarena has called Labour MP Joseph Sammut as a witness in his defence in a court case following the Old Mint Street expropriation scandal. Gaffarena’s lawyer Keith Bonnici has listed Sammut as a witness “to testify on the contents of a letter he sent to the Lands Department” in the name of Gaffarena and his wife, Josielle.

British Prime Minister David Cameron walked away from yesterday’s EU-UK summit with a “good” deal in hand, which he said he will use to try and convince British people to vote to remain in the EU in an upcoming referendum.
