The Freedom Day regatta scheduled for Tuesday has been postponed to Sunday 12 April following severe weather conditions.
The decision was taken after discussions between Regatta Malta and the Ministry for Sport.
Despite efforts to proceed with the event, including a change in the race start time on Tuesday, weather conditions continued to deteriorate, leaving organisers with no option but to postpone the regatta.
With next Sunday coinciding with Easter Sunday, the earliest available date for the event was set for the following week.
Results from the races that were completed earlier on the day will remain valid.
