Claire Zammit Xuereb appointed director of AX Care

AX Group, Malta’s leading diversified group of companies is pleased to announce the appointment of Claire Zammit Xuereb as its director of the AX Care business division.

Zammit Xuereb brings a wealth of leadership experience and a passion for positive change to the company’s established and highly successful healthcare brands.

Since 2003, Ms Zammit Xuereb has been at the helm of Hotel Operations at AX Group, a position she will continue to hold in addition to her new duties with AX Care. 

Under her directorship, AX Hotels has grown to operate a highly regarded portfolio of seven hotels and 14 restaurants. Highlight properties under the AX Hotels brand include the 5-star Rosselli AX Privilege boutique hotel in Valletta, the 5-star AX The Palace in Sliema, and the Michelin-starred Under Grain restaurant in Valletta.

In addition to her directorship duties at AX Hotels and AX Care, Zammit Xuereb sits on the Executive Board of AX Group and has held various positions within the Malta Hotels and Restaurants Association and the ITS Board of Governors.

She is also the Chairperson of AX Foundation, a non-profit organisation that assists persons living with invisible disabilities.
