First in a continuing series of DJ nights at Cabanas, Paceville from 22:00. Featuring DJs Fare Soldi, Squeak?, Mathematikal, Fat32, Diskid, Dale, Bjan-Jensen, Bart Nickson, The Wizard, Nioxin Vitae and more. Free entrance.

FRIDAYS
Gianpula Fridays
17 nights of partying (starting from May 27) featuring DJs Pierre Cordina, Tony Tony, Clayton J, JJoy, Ruby, Joseph Armani, Toby, MyKill and Carl Bee at the Main Room and Groove Gardens of Gianpula, limits of Rabat from 23:00 till 04:00. Entrance is at €6.

Bridge Bar Jazz Nights
Live jazz every Friday night at Bridge Bar, by Victoria Gate, Valletta from 21:00. Line up of locally established jazz musicians includes Marc Galea, Lawrie Simpson, Walter Vella, Effie Azzopardi and Eric Santucci. The schedule will also include some foreign surprises, visiting sporadically through the summer.

Panslavia
A night of Slavic music from every genre – folk, punk, rock, pop – spun by DJ Barbara Stramska at Coach and Horses, Valley Road, Msida from 21:30.

Ghanafest
A concert of Mediterranean folksong at Argotti Gardens, Floriana from 19:00. Featuring local musicians as well as bands from Sicily, Turkey and Iran. Tickets are at €3, and €7 for a three day block ticket available at the door.

JUNE 30
Isle of MTV
Annual free concert at the Granaries, Floriana. This year’s line up includes Snoop Dogg, Far East Movement, LMFAO and Parade.

JUNE 16 – 26
The International Festival of the Arts
A programme of dance, music, theatre, poetry, digital installations, political cabaret featuring performers from Malta Italy, Croatia, India, Malaysia, UK and Poland at the ActionBase studio in Buskett from 21:00. TONIGHT AND JUNE 17-19
You’ve Got Hate Mail
Mellow Drama production of the Billy Van Zandt and Jane Milmore comedy at St James Cavalier. Cast includes John Montanaro, Julia Calvert, Wesley Ellul, Pia Zammit and Jo Caruana. Directed by James Calvert. All shows start at 20:00. Additionally there will be two special late night shows on 11 and 18 June at 22:00. The Importance of Being Earnest
A live transmission of Oscar Wilde’s classic comedy, screened at the St James Cavalier Cinema from the American Airlines Theatre in Broadway at 20:00 on June 2, 10 and 25 and 19:00 at June 5. 19th Century Souvenir Illustrations of the Ġgantija Temples
Exhibition of 19th century souvenirs illustrations related to the Ġgantija temples at the Citadel, Gozo Area Exhibition Hall, Victoria. Opening hours: 09:00 till 17:00 in the evening and on Saturday from 09:00 till noon.

Merlin Library will launch Mejlak’s latest short story collection at Palazzo Falson, Mdina from 20:30.
