Children's Cinema Day returns

This will be the 15th edition of this popular celebration

Another edition of the ever popular Children's Cinema Day is set to be held on Saturday 5 April, when cinemas once again will be offering a wide selection of the best new movies in release at a reduced admission price.

The films showing on the day will feature no fewer than 9 animations with genres varying from action comedy, family adventure and action fantasy.  The programme also includes a war drama – ‘The Book Theif’, an action adventure Sci-fi – ‘Captain America - The Winter Soldier’, and the adventure comedy drama – ‘The Secret Life of Walter Mitty’.

Children Cinema Day film screenings will commence at 9.00a.m. and terminate with the 7.00p.m. performance. 

This celebration of film will take place at the Eden Cinema, St Julians, Embassy Cinema in Valletta, Empire Cinema in Bugibba and Tal-Lira Cinema in Fgura. Early booking is recommended. 

Ticket prices will be Eur2.50 for children and Eur4 for accompanying adults.  Prices are slightly higher for 3D films.
