Wirdien
The first edition of Festival tal-Wirdien is set to take place at Il-Masgar, Mtarfa on the weekend starting September 24. The festival will feature performances by Plato’s Dream Machine, Stalko and Brikkuni along with DJ sets by members of the bands. Tickets are at €12 with special offers at the bar on both nights.

Elton John & Ray Cooper
Elton John will be sharing the stage with Ray Cooper at the Granaries in Floriana at 23:00. The event is organised by NNG Promotions and is set to be a solo show but with Ray Cooper on percussion - the first time that the duo have played together since 1995. Honours List Collective Exhibition
The Malta Society of Arts, Manufacture and Commerce is organizing an exhibition showcasing the work of winning artists of the National Art Competition and Silver Palette Competition at the San Anton Palace, Attard. Art works exhibited will be for sale, part of proceeds going to the Community Chest Fund. The Bla Titlu Experience
The ‘Bla Titlu’ team return for their fourth fundraising performance after last year’s successful event, which was held at the Catholic Institute attracting just over 800 people. Hilarious sketches, professional drama acts, bands, group dancing, and much more are to be expected at the Sir Temi Zammit Hall, University of Malta at 19:00. La Traviata
The well-known opera La Traviata will be making a welcome return to the Teatru Astra in Victoria, Gozo twenty-one years after it was presented for the first time in April 1989. This new production will be under the artistic direction of renowned Marco Gandini, set design by Mauro Tinti, Joseph Cauchi is scenic artist and Carmel Zammit Stage Manager.
