Handsome Furs (Ca)
Canadian electro punk indie duo Handsome Furs will be completing their European tour at Escape Club (ex-Dukes) in Paceville at 20:30. Tickets at €15 are available from http://www.maltaticket.com and Agenda, Vodafone and Exotique outlets.

Forsaken and Norm Rejection
The metal bands will be performing at Rookies Sports Bar, Bugibba. Entrance is at €5. Doors open at 21:30.

Bare Bones
Exhibition by subversive British art group Bare Bones at Ollie’s Last Pub, Archbishop Street Valletta. The group will be on the island to gather information on Maltese tales for an upcoming book. Organised by Kinemastik. Pub opens from 19:00 till late.

Goran Cejkov’s latest artworks
An exhibition of the Macadonian painter’s latest work at Artitude Gallery, Sliema. Opening hours: Monday to Saturday – 10:00 to 13:00 and 16:00 to 19:00 or by appointment.

Parallel Diversity
A collective art exhibition of visual compositions by David Xuereb, Saviour Baldacchino and Manuel Caruana at Last Touch Gallery, Mosta.

MCA 16 – Austin Camilleri
New work by Austin Camilleri – working in video, installation, sculpture and painting – at the Malta Contemporary Art, Upper Galleries of St James Cavalier Valletta. The artist will be giving at talk at the venue on November 27 at 18:30.


PUBLIC LECTURE

December 16
An evening with Caravaggio
A lecture entitled Caravaggio Obbediente, given by scholar Dr Keith Sciberras will be held at the Oratory of the Beheading of St John the Baptist, St John’s Co-Cathedral, Valletta. It will be preceded by a short organ recital by Dr Hugo Agius Muscat. Visitors are to be seated at 18:00.
