Britain’s Next Top Model judge coming to Malta

The internationally acclaimed British fashion designer and Britain’s Next Top Model judge, Julien Macdonald is coming to Malta.

International designer Julien Macdonald will be holding a fashion show showcasing his Star line and launching his Diamond collection at the Debenhams store, The Point in Sliema.

Julien Macdonald’s Star collection,designed exclusively for Debenhams,is a day to evening range, designed to give a sexy but subtle look during the day and a more glamorous look for a night out.

Diamond, another Macdonald label designed exclusively for Debenhams,presents flattering and glamorous party pieces, perfect for a night on town and fun and flirty separates for a relaxed daytime look.

During the event, Julien Macdonald will be selecting the winner of the Debenhams Diamond Facebook Competition. The winner will get a €300 voucher and 2 free flights to any Air Malta destination, courtesy of the airline.

The fashion show – on Saturday 21 Mayfrom 11 am until 1 pm – is open to the public and will be followed by a meet-&-greet session with the British icon. Refreshments will be served throughout the event.

Macdonald will also be this year’s guest of honour at the Malta Fashion Awards,where he will be presenting an Award to an individual or entity which made an outstanding contribution towards the Maltese fashion industry.

Apart from making a name for himself, Macdonald has been the designer for renowned fashion houses. Since 2003, he has also been part of the prestigious line-up of designers who have presented exclusive ranges for Debenhams.

In 2006, he was awarded an Order of the British Empire (OBE) for his services to fashion.
