Reporter's Grammy incident goes viral

An embarrassed CBS reporter has become an unwitting internet sensation after a sudden lapse into incoherence during the station's Grammy coverage last Sunday.

All the Emmy award winning reporter Serene Branson wanted to say was 'Lady Antebellum swept the Grammys,' while on-location for CBS's coverage of the music award ceremony outside the Staples Center in Los Angeles.

Instead, what came out didn't sound like any language at all.

Neurologists flocked to explain what in fact happened to Branson. Some speculated it may have been a 'mini-stroke', others thought it may have been an epileptic seizure.

But Dr Andrew Charles, who treated Branson immediately after the embarrassing incident, labelled her condition as a 'migrane aura', resulting from severe headaches and affecting speech.

The above video has since gone viral on YouTube, and has already spawned merciless parodies such as the one below.
