BOV restores online services

Bank of Valletta said its systems are now operating normally following technical issues that disrupted several of its services on Wednesday.

In a statement issued after the outage, the bank confirmed that services had been fully restored and thanked customers for their patience.

“We would like to inform you that our systems are now working normally. We thank you for your patience,” the bank said.

It also apologised for any inconvenience caused.

The disruption had affected internet and mobile banking services, as well as card payments, preventing some customers from accessing accounts or completing transactions.
