Hili Properties, subsidiaries sued by former managing director
Georgios Kakouras, the former managing director of Hili Properties, claims that his employment was wrongfully terminated
Georgios Kakouras, the former managing director of Hili Properties, has initiated a series of legal proceedings against his former employer and its affiliated companies following his departure from the firm.
Kakouras has formally filed a case before the Employment and Industrial Tribunal, where he alleges that his employment was wrongfully terminated. In a statement, Hili Properties denied these allegations and expressed its intention to defend its position and uphold the integrity of its internal processes.
In addition to the employment dispute, Kakouras also took aim at Harvest Technology and its subsidiary, Apcopay Limited, in courts. During his tenure as an employee of Hili Properties, Kakouras was seconded to both Harvest Technology and Apcopay at different times.
He is now claiming payment for services rendered to these two companies during those periods of secondment. The board of directors at Harvest Technology has denied this claim, stating that any payment for services provided during a secondment should be addressed with Hili Properties.
According to the companies, Kakouras requested a precautionary garnishee order against both Harvest Technology and Apcopay Limited. Harvest Technology described the measure as "unwarranted and disproportionate".
Both Hili Properties and the Harvest Technology group have stated they will take all appropriate steps to protect their interests and defend against the claims advanced by their former executive.
