Last day of trading for BOV 8% USD bonds on 8 September

A company announcement by company secretary Catherine Formosa shortly before 2pm today at the Malta Stock Exchange (MSE) announced that the last date of trading in these bonds on the exchange should be Monday 6 September 2010.

In this respect, the bondholders appearing on the register as at close of business on Friday, 10 September 2010, would receive payment of principal and final interest on 2 October 2010.

The bank explained that the redemption of these ten-year bonds was taking place “in terms of the prospectus dated 7 September 2000”
