The five awards namely Partner of the Year Award, Innovation in the Enterprise Award, Partner in SMB Award, Retail Partner of the Year Award and Sales Person of the Year Award were announced by Adrianna Zammit, Country Manager of Microsoft Malta during a networking meeting hosted at Palazzo De Piro in Mdina. Zammit said "Microsoft Malta is committed to nurture the ongoing strong synergies that already exist with local partners who like Microsoft, believe that today's technology has the power to transform lives for the better. We help our clients get better business results, by helping them to gather better data and turn it into better insight, for them to take advantage of new opportunities in media and technology, enabling them to thrive and support a healthy software ecosystem."

Referring to Microsoft Malta's local operations, Zammit noted how many business organisations still do not realize the full potential of their IT platform and that much of this potential is still untapped.

One of Microsoft Malta's main priorities is cloud technology. In this regard, we are currently focusing on four main strategic solutions namely virtualisation, customer relationship management, unified communications and hosted cloud services. Microsoft is also engaging in a number of activities through an awareness campaign that seeks to highlight the risks of mis-licensed software whilst promoting the importance of adopting genuine software.
