Malta International Airport is preparing to welcome an expected 140,000 passenger movements during Easter week, spanning from today until 19 April.

Due to the Easter rush, combined with the start of the Cruise and Fly programme and the recent launch of the airport’s summer schedule, this Thursday is expected to be the busiest day over the coming week.

MIA forcasted around  21,500 passenger movements on 13 April, with the airport advising passengers to check in early between 7.15am and 1pm while the Cruise and Fly programme is in operation.

The airport’s meteorological office has predicted a sunny Easter weekend, with temperatures reaching 22°C.
