The AFM's Bomb Disposal Unit is currently investigating a suspicious bag near the Bayview Hotel in Gżira.
The Gżira front has been closed to traffic while authorities investigate the bag.
A police spokesperson said the suspicious bag was noticed near the hotel at around 12:30pm.
