24 people arrested in Marsa immigration checks
All persons are waiting to be repatriated to their countries of origin in Asia and Africa or to another country in which they have the right to stay

Police arrested 24 persons found to be living Malta illegally during Friday morning inspections around Marsa.
The inspection was triggered after police received a number of reports over the last few days.
Consequently, together with the Detention Services, police underwent searches which found 24 people illegally working and living in Malta.
All 24 are waiting to be repatriated to their countries of origin in Asia and Africa or to another country in which they have the right to stay.
