[WATCH] Police retrieve dead body from sea

An elderly man, thought to be over 90 years old, was today found dead in St Paul’s Bay.

The man’s body was retrieved by the police early this morning after the corpse was spotted at sea at il-Bajja tal-Ghazzenin.

The man was found with a noose tied around his neck however although investigations are yet to be concluded, the police are ruling out foul play.

Forensic and medical expert Mario Scerri was on site and will be carrying out the first examinations.
