[WATCH] Construction worker injured in fall

A 36-year-old man of Siggiewi was hospitalised this afternoon, suffering from injuries to his head and back after falling from a height in Swatar.

The construction worker was working on a penthouse in Triq is-Sisla, which is still under construction.

It transpires that the man lost his balance while climbing down a wall, falling into a balcony beneath the penthouse. He received first assistance from his colleague.

In the absence of a lift, paramedics and police carried the man down five storeys on a stretcher.
