Three arrested on suspicion of drug trafficking
White powder together with €20,000 in cash found in police raids on Hamrun and Valletta residences

Three suspects aged between 17 and 40 are being held by police
Two men and a woman were remanded in custody on Tuesday after being caught in possession of white powder, thought to be cocaine, items related to drug use and trafficking, as well as €20,000 in cash.
Members of the drug squad, in conjunction with Valletta district police searched a number of residences in Valletta and Hamrun before arresting a 40-year-old woman from Hamrun, a 28-year-old man, also from Hamrun and a 17-year-old male from Valletta.
The suspects are being held in police custody to help the police in their investigations.
