Motorcyclist, 19, seriously injured in crash

A 19-year-old man was grievously injured after he lost control of his motorbike in St Paul’s Bay yesterday afternoon.
The incident occurred at around 5:10pm when the youth lost control of his Honda CBR motorcycle, crashed into a parked car and fell off his bike in Dawret il-Gzejjer. The vehicle was driving from Bugibba Square towards Bahar ic-Caghaq.
The motorcyclist was rushed to Mater Dei Hospital by ambulance, and was later certified to be suffering grievous injuries.
Police investigations are still ongoing.
