Man suffers serious head injuries in St Julian’s fight

A 22-year-old man was grievously injured in a fight in Paceville in the early hours of Thursday morning, according to the police.

In a statement, the police said the argument, which took happened at Triq Spinola in St Julian’s, took place at 1:30am.

The police said that the 22-year-old man from Somalia and who resides in Birzebbuga appeared to have been hit in the head with a hard object.

Another foreign man was arrested by police and is currently being detained pending further investigations.
