Police inspect 107 cars in Gozo

Over 100 cars were inspected for illegalities by the police in Gozo on Wednesday.

In a statement, the police said that 107 inspections were carried out, with a number of drivers having been fined for various offences, including, driving without a seat belt, driving without a valid license, speeding, as well as carrying more passengers than is legally permitted and speeding.

The inspections were carried out by police from the traffic section as well as district police and mainly focused on Xewkija, Nadur and Rabat.
