57-year-old motorcyclist seriously injured from collision

A 57-year-old motorcyclist has been hospitalised with serious injuries after crashing into a car on Mannarino Road in Birkirkara, Police have said.

The incident took place at around 11:45am on Wednesday.

The 57-year-old man was driving a Yamaha motorcycle when he crashed into a Daewoo Racer being driven by an 82-year old man from Birkirkara.

An medical team went on site to assist the motorcyclist. He was transported to Mater Dei hospital.

Police investigations are still ongoing.
