Voters have until midnight to collect voting document
The commission said offices will open from 8am to 1pm and again from 3pm until midnight at the former Trade Fair Grounds in Naxxar and the Gozo Electoral Office in Victoria for voters registered in Gozo
The Electoral Commission has reminded that Thursday, 28 May 2026, is the final day for voters to collect their voting documents ahead of polling day.
Voting documents may be collected from the Electoral Commission’s offices at the Counting Hall at the former Trade Fair Grounds in Naxxar, as well as from the Electoral Office in Triq Ta’ Wara s-Sur in Victoria, Gozo, for voters registered in Gozo.
The commission said offices will open from 8am to 1pm and again from 3pm until midnight. Voters collecting their documents must appear in person before the Electoral Commissioners and present their identity card, as no other form of identification will be accepted.
Special arrangements are also being provided for sick people who are unable to leave their private vehicles when arriving at the commission’s offices. In such cases, an Electoral Commissioner will personally deliver the voting document to the voter.
The Electoral Commission further reminded the public that, according to law, no voting documents may be printed, collected or delivered on 29 and 30 May 2026.
Voters will not be allowed to cast their ballot on polling day without a valid voting document.
