Election Playbook: Silence please!

The Election Playbook keeps its mouth shut during this 'day of reflection'

Silence please!: I hope you enjoyed the first few hours without political news in a month. Friday marks Silent Day, a period during which political campaigning is prohibited and media outlets are barred from reporting on election-related issues. It may also serve as a well-needed break from thinking about the election, at least before the islands turn into one big carcade on Sunday. The purpose of this legally mandated pause is to give voters an opportunity to reflect on the campaign. During this time, no public statements or activities that could influence voters are allowed, whether by politicians, political parties, media organisations, or other individuals. So for this last edition of the Election Playbook, here is an article that explains what happens to your vote when it reaches the counting hall, and below is a video by our very own Kurt Sansone busting election-related myths.

Election Talk with Karl Azzopardi: On today's episode of Election Talk with Karl Azzopardi we go through a number of voting myths to get you sorted for voting day. MaltaToday Executive Editor Kurt Sansone goes through the dos and don'ts of voting.
