Borg Olivier in another funds appeal: ‘we are being heavily outspent’

PN secretary general Paul Borg Olivier.
PN secretary-general Paul Borg Olivier has made another appeal for funds, this time claiming that the PN was being "heavily outspent" in this campaign.
"As you have undoubtedly realised, we are being heavily outspent in this campaign," Borg Olivier said, in a stark resemblance to the 'Labour is rich, PN is poor' mailshot sent in July.
In the customary mailshot for the PN's electoral reachout, Borg Olivier said the PN needed its supporters help. "We are counting on you to support our campaign by giving a small donation today," the email message read, complete with a hyperlink to make donations online.
Borg Olivier said that as the PN prepared to roll out its electoral programme, their objective was to explain their proposals clearly and effectively to the widest audience possible.
"Your donation to the PN will be put to good use. We aim to use your funding to get our proposals out through the print and online media," he reassured the readers.

Mr Borg Olivier you are getting to be a cry baby. The reason you are not getting all the money is because people have no trust in you and yours. All the voter wanted for the party to get rid of a certain arrogant Minister but you and your leader sold your soul to the devil and decided to stick with the man. Big mistake because you managed to lose the budget vote and you also managed to lose a lot of your own voters and that led to less donations. And now here you are whining telling people that you and your party are being outspent by the PL? You cannot keep kicking the man in the butt and expect for that man to follow you. I suggest you earn your money the hard way, and that is to work for it.

The first to contribute should be the PN ministers. They were the ones who got the €600 raise behind everybody's back for doing nothing. I am sure they would be very generous and willing to place it all in the GonziPN till instead of returning it to Malta's coffers. All the contractors who benefited, and all those who were paid kickbacks and commissions I am sure will also be the first to contribute...or are they now abandoning the (allegedly?) most corrupt government Malta has ever had the displeasure of hosting?

So after voting for you last time I learnt that your party is possibly using my tax money through quetionable deals with certain people , your coffee mornings of 2-3 hrs are yielding hundreds of euros from under the arm pits ...and yet you claim that you are poor... a though one to convince.....then you have either mismanaged, or the people with money are not backing your loosing horse

In the past you shared some of my money but this time no donations. I was very upset that the PN MPs have raised their salaries to Eur600 behind our backs, well the reply is not a single penny to donate. I pay my taxes on time. These last 5 yrs your way of governing this country is a no value for money.

Penny for the guy one might hear PBO call. However for people to contribute they must be impressed with the guy you created. Unfortunately the GonziPN guy is now rather devalued and rather ragged and potential donors are more likely to be impressed and put their hands in the pocket for the PL GUY.

As I have had occasion to comment, contractors and developers cash-flow has dried up worse than Chadwick Lakes in summer. Even preferred contractors awarded Government contracts are dry, as Gonzi has no money to pay them. Dear Paul, would you accept a truckload of bricks? But you may have great difficulty cashing it in. Perhaps you may barter it with someone for advertising space? Who knows?

Mr. Borg olivier you should ask for funds from those whom the PN filled filled their pockets and not from us who have been treated as se ond class citisins. Our pockets are dry

Why bother? It's simply a waste of money because you have lost lol ... every cent you spent is wasted, might as well put your sleeves back down and go on a holiday -- the same holiday you've been on for the last 5 years, BECAUSE YOU ONLY ACHIEVED A LOT OF NOTHING!

Why don't Paul Borg Olivier ask Zaren Vassallo and GreenMT for financial assistance? Perhaps they would help.

Dr. Borg Olivier, you reap the fruit of what you sow. By feeding the greedy few, you now realize that they have become too greedy to share with you. You chose a narrow party grouping rather than a broad movement as your strategy for running the country and it was a big mistake.

It seems that gone are the days when the PN media would try to ridicule the Labour Party after the usual Gbir ta' Fondi, when the PN would collect much more funds than the PL. So the present PN leadership not only bankrupted the country but even their own party.
