Casa to lead PN delegation in Brussels

PN leader Simon Busuttil has appointed his former collegue in the European Parliament David Casa as the party’s head of delegation in Brussels.

In a statement issued today, the PN said that Casa would lead the three-person delegation for the next five years.

Casa was first elected to the European Parliament in 2004 and is the longest serving Maltese MEP, having been elected in all three European elections held since accession.

He has also served as head of delegation over the past year, replacing Busuttil who was elected as PN leader in May 2013.

For the first time ever, the PN delegation is made up of three MEPs, with Roberta Metsola and Therese Commodini Cachia completing the PN lineup.
