Armed robbery in Sliema, salesgirl suffers light injury
Two men fled the scene of an armed robbery with a small amount after having held-up a shop in St Dominic Street in Sliema.
The incident took place at around 9.45am, when two armed and hooded men stepped inside the shop and ordered the salesgirl – who was alone in the shop – to hand over the money.
According to the Police, it was during this time that the girl suffered light injuries in her hand.
The robbers managed to flee, whilst Police are carrying out their investigation.
