Man injured in traffic accident

According to witnesses, the man who was driving the BMW lost control of his vehicle and rammed into a pick-up van.

The accident happened in the main road leading to St Julian's from San Gwann. The driver was seen to by paramedics who were called to the scene and was taken to Mater Dei hospital by ambulance.

The road has temporarily been closed to traffic.
