Agreement reached in dispute at British Pensions Office

The GWU's Professionals, Finance and Services section has reached and signed an agreement with representatives of the ministry of defence of the UK government that is responsible for the british pensions office in Malta.
 
The agreement ended a dispute pertaining to the closure of the office by the UK government as a system and way forward to establish beneficial severance packages was agreed including a way forward to establish the outcome if disagreement were to prevail.
 
The union has removed its industrial actions and thanks pensioners of the British Government that number 2500 circa for their support and understanding during this dispute that may have caused some inconvenience to them.
