Government to issue special grants for families

To help families with a low income or who are on social benefits, government has announced it will be issuing a special grant.

This, government said, is to ensure that those families who need it more are given the help to make good with the increase in energy and food prices.

The compensation will be of €70 to the head of the family and a €35 for each member of that family.
