KM Malta’s new Summer 2026 destination launched: Málaga, Spain
The new direct route to Málaga, Spain will take effect on 27th May 2026
A new direct flight between Malta and Málaga has been announced by KM Malta Airlines, adding to the Summer 2026 schedule.
The new route towards the Mediterranean destination’s airport, Málaga-Costa del Sol, will be available twice weekly on Wednesdays and Sundays.
Málaga is located on Spain’s Costa Del Sol, which offers travellers a combination of Andalusian culture and beachside activities.
Additionally, Málaga serves as a gateway to southern Spain’s most popular destinations, such as Marbella, Nerja, Ronda, and the villages of inland Andalusia.
Flights will officially start to operate from Wednesday 27th May 2026, with flight tickets currently available for booking through the KM Malta website, travel agents, and other sales channels.
The airline suggested exploring the city’s historic centre, visiting the Picasso Museum, discovering landmarks like Alcazaba and Gibralfaro Castle, and enjoying the city’s vast food scene.
The KM Malta’s Summer 2026 schedule, includes an expanded range of routes and frequencies across key European and Mediterranean destinations, with the addition of Málaga offering additional choice for leisure travel, whilst supporting inbound tourism to Malta
