The public has been warned not to eat Mousse con Salmone by the brand Land as it is potentially contaminated with Clostridium botulinum type B.

Clostridium botulinum type B is a bacterium that can cause food poisoning by producing a toxin that may affect the nervous system and lead to a condition known as botulism, which causes severe muscle paralysis.

 The lot number affected is 0060074410.

Consumers are advised not to consume the implicated product and either dispose of it or return it to the store from which it was purchased.
