Coalition questions Marsalforn cement on coastal rocks

Gozo minister Clint Camilleri says he was informed of the works, and that any unauthorised work will have to come down

A coalition of Gozitan environmental and heritage organisations has questioned the pouring of cement on coastal rocks in Marsalforn.

On Tuesday, they said they sent questions to the Planning Authority and the Environment and Resources Authority (ERA).

The Coalition for Gozo, made up of Wirt Għawdex, Din l-Art Ħelwa Għawdex and Għawdix, said: “We are demanding answers to our questions about this atrocity.”

Gozo minister Clint Camilleri has since responded, saying he was informed of works carried out in Marsalforn. He said that if the works were not authorised, they will have to be removed
