Isolated showers forecast for Malta over the weekend

Isolated rain showers are expected this weekend as summer nears its end, the Met Office has confirmed.

While no thunderstorms or heavy rain are currently forecast, isolated showers are expected across Malta overnight on Saturday and Sunday.

Temperatures are expected to ease over the weekend, with daytime highs falling to around 30°C and overnight lows reaching around 23°C.

Further isolated showers are possible on Monday and Tuesday, while temperatures are expected to remain largely unchanged.

By Wednesday, the maximum temperature is forecast to fall further to 28°C.

The Met Office underlined that forecasts are subject to change and encouraged the public to check its website for the latest updates.
