The employees of the government owned company Mediterranean Offshore Bunkering Co. Ltd, (MOBC), are facing an uncertain future as the company has been slapped with a $1,801,516 garnishee order.

Sunday newspaper Illum reports that MOBC is facing a garnishee order in relation to a decision taken by MEPA to issue an enforcement order to stop MOBC's operations after the company failed to install filters.

The government company has not installed the filters yet, and consequently Island Bunker Oils Limited - which was making use of the MOBC's facilities - filed court proceedings against MOBC because it could no longer operate.

Since there is no oil, the international community will only file protests...anyway and locally, the bloggers of hate would only comment if there was a relationship between the PL and the Syrian government. Can anyone illuminate me whether the Maltese government had issued any comdemnation? Secondly where Lou Bondi and the DCG went to Valletta with the Syrian to protests on this genocide...obviously not as they do not care unless they manage to find a link between Mintoff and the Syrian Government, as otherwise they would be there in front.
