Liberian migrant 'missing' from Malta, arrested in Sardegna

A Maltese-registered migrant from Liberia has been arrested by the Italian police in Cagliari, after he was hunted down with an arrest warrant for international drug trafficking.

Simon Godwin Ogor was wanted in Italy for international drug trafficking

Simon Godwin Ogor, 35, born in Liberia, and registered in Malta as a migrant who has been 'missing' from detention for the past two years, was apprehended at 1:30am after he was chased by three patrol cars.

A spokesman for the Sardegna Police said that Ogor resisted his arrest and had denied his identity, but was busted after his finger prints matched those he had given in Malta.
