Young mother, 8-month boy hospitalised after van rams into parked vehicle
A 26-year-old woman hailing from Birkirkara together her eight-month-old boy were hospitalised shortly after 12 am after a van rammed into the Peugeot 206 car she was parked. Their condition was as yet unknown.

The collision took place in the road that from Mgarr leads to Ghajn Tuffieha. A police spokesperson told MaltaToday that the driver of the van had not been hospitalised Initial police investigations on site showed that the Ford Transit van was being driven by a 74-year-old San Gwann man, when the van collided with the Peugeot 206. As a result of the collision, the Peugeot 206 overturned. The mother and child were taken to Mater Dei Hospital, where they were being medically examined. Police investigations on this case were still continuing.
