Police alerted to ‘angry motorist’ in bizarre whisky request

A man who demanded a bottle of whisky from a kebab shop in Naxxar is being searched by the police after bystanders were left shocked at the man's "angry demeanour".

The man was said to have entered the Istanbul Kebab House on 21st September Avenue in Naxxar at around 3pm and asked an employee for a bottle of whisky. Upon being told that they don't sell whisky, the man left the premises and drove off in his Fiat Punto at high speed.

Eyewitnesses who contacted MaltaToday described the man as "being angry" and driving "in a dangerous way".

Police have been informed of the incident, and said they were looking for the driver.
