Breakfast show guest draws complaint from PN

The Nationalist Party argued that the TV station was being used as a government mouthpiece

The Nationalist Party has filed a complaint with the Public Broadcasting Services over the involvement of Alex Muscat, a government official, in the TVAM breakfast show.

Muscat works within the prime minister's secretariat and was present earlier at the Malta International Airport, accompanying the prime minister. Muscat is also a Labour election candidate and the party's minority leader in Mosta.

The PN took exception to the way Muscat was introduced during the programme, as an opinion-maker, and argued that TVM was being used as a government mouthpiece.
