Three foreigners, including a child rescued by Red Cross at Ramla Bay

Three foreigners have been saved by the Red Cross shortly after noon after falling in difficulty while swimming at Ramla Bay in Gozo.

According to a Red Cross Gozo Branch spokesperson, the persons were noticed to be in difficulty “due to the high waves and under tow currents”.

MaltaToday has learnt that the three foreigners – two adults and a child – were taken on shore by Red Cross Gozo Branch personnel.

However, after being rescued, the swimmers were did not need further assistance and were not even hospitalised.
