Three out of five Air Malta flights to France tomorrow to be cancelled due to strike

Due to air traffic control strike in France tomorrow, three out of five Air Malta scheduled flights to France would be cancelled. These were Air Malta flights KM466/7 Malta/Paris Orly/Malta; KM478/9; and Malta/Paris Charles De Gaulle/Malta.

Air Malta has announced that scheduled flights KM416/7 Malta/Toulouse/Lyon/Malta and KM436/7 Malta/Marseille/Malta would operate as scheduled.

As a result, passengers originally booked on KM466 Malta/Paris Orly were being offered to travel on flight KM478 Malta/Paris Charles De Gaulle. The flight to Charles De Gaulle is scheduled to depart Malta at 2.15 pm.

The passengers originally booked to travel Paris Orly to Malta on KM467 were being offered the opportunity to travel tomorrow on KM479 Paris Charles De Gaulle to Malta.  The flight was expected to depart Paris Charles De Gaulle at 6pm arriving in Malta at 11.05 pm.

Due to restricted airport resources, the French Aviation authority had requested all airlines to reduce their traffic programme into Paris and Air Malta had been allowed to operate only its flight KM478/9 to Paris Charles De Gaulle,” the company explained.

Air Malta has apologised to its passengers for any inconvenience they might encounter and urged its clients due to travel on these flights to contact flight enquiries at Malta International Airport (MIA) on phone number: 50043333 or Air Malta’s Call Centre on 21662211 for further information on flight arrival or departure times.
